The University of Hertfordshire Women’s Football Club is based at Hertfordshire Sports Village on the de Havilland Campus. The team are the reigning BUC’S Southern Premier Division League Champions.
Women’s football is one of the university’s key focus sports. With the mutually beneficial partnership with Arsenal Ladies Football Club we are committed to continuing to improve and develop the women’s programme.
Women's Football were the first University of Hertfordshire team to win a Premier League Title during the 2008-2009 season a success which was repeated in 2009-2010.
Trials are held during the first week of term. You must pre-register to attend at either the Sports Fair on Wednesday 29 September or the SU Fresher’s Fair on Friday 1 October where you will be given a day and time to attend.
The Women's Football Club compete in the National University League and Cup Programme managed by BUCS.

The team play on a Wednesday afternoon kick off 14.00. All home games are held on our high quality grass pitches at the Sports Village.
Mondays, 20.00 - 21.30, New Generation Pitch 1, Hertfordshire Sports Village, de Havilland Campus.
The Women's Football Club is coached and managed by a number of FA qualified and experienced coaches with a background in the professional, non league and academy football.

How do I join the Athletic Union?
To take out one of our superb membership deals you need to come to the Sports Village or the Athletic Union office on the de Havilland Campus with the following:
- Student ID card
- Re-enrolment e-mail (for renewing students)
- Method of payment
- Completed student membership form
How much will it cost?
The £10 Athletic Union start-up fee must be purchased before taking out any of the bolt-ons below:
- AU start-up fee: £10
- AU 1st Representative Club bolt on: £55
- AU 2nd Representative Club bolt on: £30
- AU Semester Representative Club bolt on: £35
- AU Club Health & Fitness Annual bolt on (off peak plus): £195
- AU Club Health & Fitness Semester bolt on (off peak plus): £135
