The Equestrian Team is newly formed and will proudly represent the University by competing in the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) National league competition for its second year.
The team will be based at Oaklands College Smallford Campus towards St Albans. Many experienced horses are based at Oaklands and complement the excellent training facilities, equipment and well qualified staff.
The BUCS Equestrian Team selection trials will take place at Oaklands College Smallford Campus on Wednesday 6 and Wednesday 13 October at 17:30.
The selection decision will be finalised and successful applicants we be notified on Friday 15 October.
The Equestrian Team compete in the National University League and Cup programme managed by BUCS

All fixtures will take place on a Wednesday and all home competitions will take place at Oaklands College Smallford Campus.
Training sessions will then take place fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at Oaklands College. Specific times of the training sessions will be set and confirmed after the team selection.
The Equestrian Team will be coach reguarly by qualfied and experienced coaches with a background in University sport.
How do I join the Athletic Union?

- Re-enrolment e-mail (for renewing students)
- Method of payment
- Completed student membership form

The £10 Athletic Union start-up fee must be purchased before taking out any of the bolt-ons below:
- AU start-up fee: £10
- AU 1st Representative Club bolt on: £55
- AU 2nd Representative Club bolt on: £30
- AU Semester Representative Club bolt on: £35
- AU Club Health & Fitness Annual bolt on (off peak plus): £195
- AU Club Health & Fitness Semester bolt on (off peak plus): £135
