The University of Hertfordshire Rugby Club offers all students of every level the ability to play Rugby at a competitive level.
The Rugby club is based at Hertfordshire Sports Village on the de Havilland Campus, providing members with access to top-class facilities. Both the men's and women's teams train on Monday nights with additional fitness training throughout the week. The Rugby club is a main focus sport of the university and represents one of the biggest sporting programmes within the AU with 3 senior teams.
The club and it's players are proud to represent the university and are confident of cementing their place in the BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) Tier 1A league next season.
Trials are held during the first week of term. You must pre-register to attend at either the AU Sports Fair on Wednesday 29 September or the SU Fresher’s Fair on Friday 1 October where you will be given further information.
