Looking for a fun, high impact workout? Whether you are looking to increase your fitness, learn self defence, competition, or just have some fun, kickboxing is the sport for you!
The Kickboxing club offers two sessions, one on a Monday evening and one on a Wednesday afternoon, under the guidance of a fully qualified coach. Each session consists of a full warm up, stretches, pad work and other related drills.
The club will give you the chance to take belt gradings, allowing you to learn new techniques as you progress. The club also offers the chance for the more confident kickboxers to practice sparring, or controlled contact fighting and go to competitions throughout the year.
The Kick Boxing Club does not hold trials as it welcomes all levels of ability from complete beginners to advanced levels. Come along to the free taster sessions in the first 2 weeks of term to try it for yourself.
The University Kickboxing Championships take place in March.
Mondays, 19.00 - 20.30, Cricket Hall, Hertfordshire Sports Village, de Havilland Campus.
Wednesdays, 13.30 - 15.30, Cricket Hall, Hertfordshire Sports Village, de Havilland Campus.
Kickboxing is coached by a highly experienced and qualified coach.
