Athletic Union Colours Awards DVD 2009/2010
Another year of sporting success at UH Hertfordshire University Colours Award 2009 – 2010
Every year the University of Hertfordshire celebrates the sporting successes and achievements over the past academic year by holding the prestigious Colours Awards ceremony. The Colours Awards evening (which is a set fixture on the UH sporting calendar) recognises and rewards the efforts and achievements of the Athletic Union sports club members. The night is dedicated to students and coaches to enjoy and reflect on their year’s success and achievements.
The Colours Awards ceremony for the past four years has been held at the prestigious Tewin Bury Farm in Welwyn. The Vice-Chancellor Tim Wilson joined 250 other guests including Sports Village staff, sports students, representatives from most Athletic Union sports clubs and coaches to celebrate the sporting success of the 2009/2010 academic year.
Greeted upon arrival with drinks, followed by a three course meal, students where able to relax and enjoy their evening with running entertainment and a DJ to top the night off.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Luke Ashmead from BBC Three Counties radio. Luke has worked for the BBC for ten years and is currently the voice of sport on BBC Three Counties radio serving Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and of course the mighty county of Hertfordshire.
